The method involves storing a message in a reception box of a recipient user. The boxes of users are interrogated to collect the received messages. The content for each message is analyzed to seek characteristics of access services available from corresponding user terminals. The terminals are selected according to the characteristics, and the message is transmitted to the selected terminal using the selected service. An independent claim is also included for a system for customization of an electronic message service accessible through user.
