The invention consists of a guide tube installation device 1 for a nephroscope consisting of a long puncture needle 2, provided with a shutter mandrel 3, on which slides an inflatable enlargement device 4; the latter comprises in particular a balloon 25 which is positioned by sliding along the puncture needle 2, which is previously inserted into the kidney of a patient; the operation being facilitated by a trocar formed of cutting blades 19 which widens the opening avoiding the tearing of the flesh; the balloon is then inflated so that the inflatable enlargement device 4 can in turn serve as guide means for a nephroscope guide tube when it is placed in the patient's kidney. / P
