The device has a base (2) on which a stress assembly is fixed. The stress assembly has plates (3, 4) comprising a first portion (31, 41) fixed to the base. Head and pelvis support units (5, 6) are fixed to a second portion (32, 42) which is placed forward with respect to the first portion. The support units are not U-shaped limiting the backward movement of the second portion due to presence of the first portion.
