Control arms connecting joint for motor vehicle, has an elastomeric body that is elastically deformable to permit relative displacement of inner and outer frames, and sensor for producing signal representing intensity of magnetic field
The joint has an elastomeric body (4) arranged between inner and outer frames (2, 3). The body is elastically deformable to permit a relative displacement of the frames. A bipolar permanent magnet (S1) positions a sensor (C1) in a preset spatially distributed magnetic field. The sensor produces a measurement signal representing an intensity of the field at the level of field sensitive zone. The sensor is an anisotropic magnetoresistance type sensor, giant magnetoresistance type sensor, or giant magneto-impedance type sensor.
