A transparent substrate (6) incorporates an anti-glare coating made up of a stack (A) of thin films. The stack comprises successively: (a) a first layer with a refractive index between 1.8 and 2.3 and a thickness of between 5 and 50 nanometres (nm); (b) a second layer with a refractive index between 1.35 and 1.65 and a thickness of between 5 and 50 nm; (c) a third layer with a refractive index of between 1.8 and 2.3 and a thickness of between 40 and 150 nm; (d) a fourth layer with a refractive index of between 1.35 and 1.65 and a thickness of between 40 and 150 nm. Independent claims are also included for: (a) a multiple, notably double, or laminated structure glazing incorporating this anti-glare coating; (b) a transparent substrate incorporating a stack of thin films including some functional layers with reflective properties in the infrared and/or in the solar radiation range; (c) a glazing incorporating the functional layer.
