The device has diodes (1, 1, 1) in series in same direction and arranged in parallel with a circuit breaker (2). The diodes are mounted on three phases of a supply network (3) for supplying a load circuit (4) during a certain time lapse before activating the circuit breaker. The diodes and an interrupter (5) are incorporated in a bus bar down-lead bay of a distribution panel board.
