Non-woven fabric is made by, extruding fiber forming resin through spinneret to form filaments; sequentially passing filaments through cooling device, first rollers, and heating device; stretching filaments by passing them through second rollers that operate at a speed greater than that of the first; and forming filaments into non-woven fabric on conveyor screen belt that advances in longitudinal direction. Production of a non-woven fabric, comprises extruding a fiber forming resin through a spinneret (4) to form filaments; passing the filaments through a cooling device (52); passing the filaments through a set of first rollers (511); passing the filaments through a heating device (53); stretching the filaments by passing the filaments through a set of second rollers (512) that operate at a speed greater than that of the first rollers; and forming the filaments into the non-woven fabric on a conveyor screen belt (8) that advances in a longitudinal direction. An independent claim is included for an apparatus for making a non-woven fabric, comprising a spinneret with extrusion holes for forming and extruding filaments; a cooling device downstream of the spinneret for cooling the filaments that exit from the spinneret; a set of first rollers downstream of the cooling device for drawing the filaments from the spinneret; a heating device downstream of the first rollers for reheating the filaments; a set of second rollers downstream of the heating device for drawing further the filaments from the first rollers, with the second rollers operating at a speed greater than that of said first rollers; and a conveyor screen belt downstream of the drawing air jet device (6) for forming and advancing the filaments in a longitudinal direction.
