The device has a bumper provided with an insulator that is placed between a ferromagnetic plate (2) and a structure (3). The plate releases a magnetic spectrum (17) when it is temporarily magnetized. A magnetic excitation coil is connected to a magnetic intensity modulator, which controls the direction of the magnetic spectrum. An amplified magnetic winding transmits the charge to the plate. A demagnetization coil is used for demagnetization of the plate. The vehicle projects a spectrum at 4 different levels of amplitude: a collision zone called the repulsion zone; a resistant zone after the collision; a deceleration zone; and a final zone.
