The method involves distributing quantity of product to a distribution system (3), to search presence of the product in upstream and downstream of loading and unloading zones (3a, 3b), respectively. Delivery of the product to the system is interrupted if the product is detected. An excess product is distributed to feed pipes (4) by clearing a reception volume in the pipes by spacing a downstream end of the pipe from a trough (1). An independent claim is also included for an equipment for distributing powdery product.
