High performance cement slag with good chemical stability for use in underground applications for hydrocarbon and geothermal reservoirs

A high performance cement slag comprises an aluminous cement, a micro-silica, some mineral particles, a water-soluble polymer fluidizing agent, a retarding agent for controlling the setting time and water. A high performance cement slag comprises: (a) an aluminous cement with an alumina content greater than 30%; (b) a micro-silica with a granulometry of 0.1 to 20 Microm in a quantity of less than 35% of the cement; (c) some mineral particles with a granulometry of 0.5 to 500 Microm, in a quantity of less than 35% of the cement and less than that of the micro-silica; (d) a water-soluble polymer fluidizing agent in a quantity of 0.2 to 3% of the cement; (e) a retarding agent for controlling the setting time of the slag; (f) water in a quantity at most equal to 40% of the cement.
