The rail has a space in the form of U for insertion of a panel (5) such that branches (13a, 13b) of the U hold the sides of the panel and core (13c) of the U applies on the edge of the panel. A branch of the U constitutes an operating handle of the panel. A flat channel receiving an edging strip (9) of a spool extends along the outer side of the branch to apply on the front of the panel.
