The production of rolled glass or vitroceramic plates comprises ceramization with zones partially shaped in the form of borders and/or with marks or references for the guidance of users. Whilst shaping, during rolling operations, the borders and/or user guidance marks, in the form of structured depressions and elevations on the upper surface of the glass plate, are formed by rolling with structured rollers. The process allows the provision of protective or guidance rims around the openings provided for burners or other cooking objects.
