The kayak has an orifice (140) that traverses a hull (100) of the kayak from top to bottom and receives an optical unit (200) for allowing a user of a boat to see the view below the kayak. The orifice is provided in the hull in a manner that it is arranged between the legs of the user once he is seated. The orifice is provided such that the lower surface of the unit is withdrawn with respect to the lower outer surface of the hull.
