The procedure consists of fitting a single-use container holding the liquid to be diffused and having a unique product identification in a diffusion apparatus with a data reader and verifying the conformity of the product identification by comparing the read-out with a database. A seal on the container is pierced to allow the liquid to flow into the diffusion apparatus and the quantity is checked before diffusion into the atmosphere.
