Crystalline forms A, B and C of 3-beta -amino-17-methylene-androsta-6alpha ,7beta -diol hydrochloride (I), characterized by X-ray diffraction data reproduced in the specification, are new. A is anhydrous; B is a dihydrate and C is a monohydrate. ACTIVITY : Antiinflammatory; Antiasthmatic. No biological data given. MECHANISM OF ACTION : None given.
