The hood (1) has a marginal zone (5), an upper sheet (8), and an inner sheet (9) disposed at vertical distance above a windshield shaft (6) in normal closed position. A recess (10) has edge configured in direction of the sheet (8) in a manner to form a collar (11). The upper sheet covers free end of the shaft and the free end penetrates the recess, when the hood is subjected to impact.
