The plates each have lateral pivots (240) and are connected in pairs by an articulated linkage (270). The decanter includes an actuator to displace and block the plates in the chosen position. The actuator is a winch. The mass of the counterweight balances the plate assembly in the extreme inclined position. The pivots of the plates (203) are placed at the bottom and the articulated linkage between the plates is plated at the top of the plates. The plates are connected together by removable pins. The decanter has two rails installed at the bottom with reservoirs divided at regular intervals, less than the minimum distance between two plates in the vertical position, to receive the plates in a way that controls their spacing.
