The bumper (6) has a rigid part (14) fixed on a rail (4), mounted on a support (2), by a groove (18) on the rigid part, and a flexible part (16) fixed on the rigid part to form a single unit. A free space (20) is provided for deformation of the flexible part for shock absorption. The parts are extruded parts that are integrated with each other by co-extrusion. The flexible part is made of convoluted foam. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) an assembly formed by a rail and a bumper (b) a trolley having a bumper.
