The device has a large tank (1) on which is adhered a small size tank (2) presenting splines (3) on its edge. Each spline holds a ring (4) to which is attached a snap hook (5). The snap hook is connected to an end of a rope (6) which permits to place the device at a leak on a hull of a boat and to maintain the device in place by fastening another end of the rope to a fixed point of the boat.
