The assembly has a bonnet (2) made of elastic material e.g. rubber, and threaded on the head of a plunger while being slidingly moved on the head. An opening (3) is formed in the bonnet, in correspondence with eyes and nose of the plunger. A glass frame (4) of a diving mask delimits an opening (5) in which a transparent glass is received. The frame is fixed in a watertight manner around the opening (3).
