The thermal bridge breaker for a metal, especially aluminium, frame consists of a section (15) of a non-conducting material, shaped to receive a seal (20) fitted between two adjacent frame members and forming an extension to an adjoining metal extrusion, to which it is attached by a clip (17). When forming part of a glazed curtain walling supporting frame (1), the non-conducting section can be attached to an outer closer (26).
