The shield has an internal wall (5) ensuring protection against high performance ballistic projectiles (8) and placed at an internal side (3). An external wall (6) ensuring protection against ordinary ballistic projectiles (9) is placed at an external side (4). The wall (6) has a sheet (10) made of steel, aluminum or composite material, and the wall (5) is made of ceramics and/or composites. An independent claim is also included for a shielded vehicle.
