The valve has a passage allowing introduction of an object e.g. surgical guide, and partially closed by torsional deformation of a flexible portion (13) of a wall of the passage. A torsional deformation unit has fixed and movable parts (4, 5) integrated to two ends of the flexible portion. Each of the parts has a surface provided with radial striae that cooperate so as to fix the movable part in angular position. An independent claim is also included for a medical or surgical instrument comprising valve.
