A stoppering system (A) having a thermochromic tampering control device, which changes color irreversibly when the temperature of at least part of (A) approaches or exceeds a threshold value, consists of a polymer matrix (II) incorporating thermochromic pigment(s) (I) which change irreversibly in color at the appropriate temperature. An independent claim is also included for the preparation of the stoppering system (A).
