The device has an analyzing unit (FT1) for decomposing an acceleration signal (gamma ) into several axial analyzing signals having respective predefined frequency bands. A memory (RM1) stores axial weighing coefficients, where each of which corresponds to the predefined frequency band. A control circuit (CC) effectuates the sum of powers of the axial analyzing signals weighed by the axial weighing coefficients to determine a vibratory level (VIB1).
