The method involves associating cardinality managing occurrences of a component (13) in a composition of a functional object (10), to the component. A cardinality of a component (53) entering in another composition of a child object (50) is included in the cardinality of the component (13). One of the components is referred to a determined object (20) of a library, and its composition is taken from the object (20). The child object (50) inherits the composition of the functional object (10).
