Continuous variable transmission controlling process for motor vehicle, involves blocking passages of increasing speed when vehicle acceleration related to engine load is greater than and roadway slope is less than their threshold values
The process involves blocking passages of increasing speed when acceleration of a motor vehicle is greater than threshold acceleration, and slope of roadway, on which the vehicle moves, is less than threshold slope. The threshold-acceleration and threshold-slope are predetermined threshold values. The acceleration of the vehicle is directly related to the engine load of the vehicle. An independent claim is also included for an application of a control process to a transmission with discrete ratios.
