The prosthesis has a clutch system including a finger (10) with a lateral projection and a movable end. The end has a lug penetrated into a cogwheel (8) when the projection contacts a smaller diameter section of a disc (9), to block rotation of a forearm part. The lug is released from the gears when the projection contacts a larger diameter section of the disc, to permit the forearm part to rotate with respect to an arm part.
