The routing tool consists of a shaft (1) with a shoulder (2) that acts as a stop for a tool holder (3) and a threaded end (4) for a retaining nut (5) that fits into a recess in the tool holder. The other end of the shaft is fitted to a routing machine (6). The tool holder is made from a non-ferrous material such as aluminium.
