The process involves measuring temperature of an oscillator of a clock. A temperature drift relative to a nominal temperature is calculated from the measured value. A triggering value (VC) of the clock is corrected if the calculated drift exceeds a given threshold value. The correction is calculated from a stored drift table, where each element of the table is formed by association of temperature and frequency values of the oscillator. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) an equipment in which the clock drift correction process is implemented (B) a mobile terminal.
