The method involves determining transmission quality of associated transport blocks or coded signal frames, from the result of channel decoding of a given sample of transport blocks corresponding to a reference mode. The transmission quality of the transport blocks is also determined from the channel decoding result of a sample of interfered transport blocks corresponding to a tested mode. An independent claim is also included for a device to determine transmission quality of transport blocks.
