The device has an applicator with an application unit (40) and a heating unit (50) partially extending along the unit (40). A squeegee (23) spins the applicator during withdrawal of the applicator from a container (2) containing a product (P) to be applied. A gap is provided between the units when the applicator is out of the container. The units are elastically brought together when the applicator crosses the squeegee.
