The drainer has a flange ring (4) located at periphery of a plate (2) with openings. The flange ring extends from the side of the plate transversally to the plate by an angle. The size of the plate is provided to allow the drainer to be tightly connected with an upper edge of a can of standard size. Two opposed holding units (6, 6`) are provided on the periphery with respect to the centre of the plate and extend towards outside.
