The frame has a pair of branches (2) for fixing a fuse (3) to the frame through longitudinal ends of the fuse. Each branch has a free end (21), an elastic portion (22) and a flat arm portion (23). The free end is U shaped and constitutes a reception cradle to receive one of the longitudinal ends of the fuse. The free end has a curve adapted to provide a contact surface for welding with the fuse. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) an assembly having a metallic lead frame (B) a method to fabricate the metallic lead frame with the integrated fuse.
