The apparatus has a pulse generator that is controlled by a microprocessor to generate pulsated signals for electrodes mounted on a pad (2). Buttons (121, 122) are used to start/stop generation of the pulses and to increase/decrease frequency of the pulses. Electrical muscle stimulation is applied on the facial muscle by the pad, when the pad is placed in contact with the face.
