Production of hydrogen from an hydrocarbon comprises a catalytic step of vapor formation of substance, conversion of carbon monoxide of effluent, final membrane purification of the flow and combustion of retained unit of purification
Production of hydrogen from an hydrocarbon comprises a catalytic step of vapor formation of substance, conversion of carbon monoxide of effluent, final membrane purification of the flow and combustion of retained unit of purification
Production of hydrogen (having 95 % purity) from an hydrocarbon comprises a catalytic stage of vapor formation of the substance in the presence of water vapor; a stage of reaction of conversion of carbon monoxide of the effluent; a stage of final membrane purification of the flow; and a stage of combustion of retained unit of purification by membrane : Production of hydrogen (having 95 % purity) from an hydrocarbon containing alcohol (having carbon atom higher than 2) and/or oxygen compounds of glycerol comprises: a) a catalytic stage of vapor formation of the substance in the presence of water vapor (held at a 500-750[deg]C and on a relative level of 0.6-2 MPa); (b) a stage of reaction of conversion of carbon monoxide of the effluent resulting from stage a); c) a stage of final membrane purification of the flow resulting from the stage b), allowing the resultant mixture to produce a hydrogen flow called permeat (at least 95 % of purity) and a flow containing retained methane, monoxide of carbon and hydrogen; and d) a stage of combustion of retained unit of purification by membrane and used as the main combustible substance in a burner, in which the hot effluents generate heat necessary for the stage of vapor formation, where the composition of principal fuel is adjusted by means of the vapor ratio of water/substance mixture entering the stage of vapor formation to obtain a lower calorific value (LCV) of the known principal fuel which makes it possible to satisfy exactly the demand for calories corresponding to the endothermicity of stage of vapor formation.
