Installation for the surface treatment of manufactured articles with the aid of a liquid or gaseous treatment fluid, comprises: (a) a treatment tank with a system for at least partially filling it with a fluid; (b) a closed vessel able to receive the manufactured articles, which is delimited by walls for the passage of the treatment fluid and is situated in the tank and at least partially submerged. The treatment vessel is equipped with a feed system for treatment fluids which can co-operate with the filling system of the treatment tank, at least during drying operations. This feed system comprises a pipe work system emerging inside the treatment vessel, in order to be able to establish a forced circulation of the treatment fluid from the inside of the vessel to the outside of the vessel. Independent claims are also included for: (a) a line for the surface treatment of manufactured articles; (b) a method for the surface treatment of manufactured articles.
