The system has a crosspiece (2) including a trapezoidal shaped transversal section with a large front face and two lateral walls. Two crash boxes are fixed to the crosspiece at sides of ends closer to the walls and equipped with a console plate (5) whose shape corresponds to trapezoidal shape of the section. The section is closed by forming a narrow base (23). The lateral walls extend obliquely in direction at ends of the crash boxes.
