Composition comprising a beta-endorphin (I) or a compound (II) allowing the production of (I) by the body, useful in a cosmetic and/or a medicinal product to treat wrinkles associated with muscular contractions. ACTIVITY : Relaxant; Dermatological. The muscle relaxing activity of (I) was tested under in vitro conditions. The results showed that (I) (5 %) completely blocked the muscular contractions after 2 hours of treatment. MECHANISM OF ACTION : None given.
