The component has a rod (2) with a removable collar (7), and housed in a femoral canal of a patient. The rod has a taper along a longitudinal axis (3) of the rod and another taper along a transversal axis that is orthogonal to the longitudinal axis. A third taper is defined in a lateral medial plane of the rod. The rod has a set of anti-rotation winglets (5) making a certain angle with respect to the longitudinal axis.
