Preparation of a homogeneous mixture (I) containing an amphiphilic agent or a mixture of several amphiphilic agents and an active ingredient insoluble in water, comprises: (a) preparing an aqueous solution containing the active ingredients; (b) dispersing the amphiphilic agent in the solution; (c) eliminating a part of water; and (d) optionally adding at least a complementary amphiphilic agent. An independent claim is also included for preparation of a composition containing vesicles having an internal lamellar crystal-liquid structure and at least an active ingredient, comprising: (a) adjusting the quantity of water contained in (I) with the corresponding quantity of water necessary to confer the mixture with a crystal-liquid lamellar phase structure; and (b) rearranging the lamellar crystal-liquid phase as a phase of vesicles with internal lamellar crystal-liquid structure by shearing.
