The device has four ratchet units (70-73) forming a shackle, and separated by the passages (74, 75), located along orthogonal planes, of a pin carried by the brake pedal and of a lever of the pedal. The ratchet units have cavities (78, 79) inside the shackle. The pin is housed in the cavities along multiple positions by passing into the passages between the free ends of the ratchet units. An independent claim is also included for an assembly for the actuation of a braking system.
