PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a kinetic motion measuring apparatus capable of calculating the quantity of kinetic motion by content of various kinetic motion. PSOLUTION: A posture determining means 105 determines the posture from gravity acceleration information measured by an acceleration sensor 101. A motion direction detecting means 109 detects the direction of the motion from the motion acceleration information measured by the acceleration sensor 101. A motion strength detecting means 109 detects the strength of the motion from the motion acceleration information. A motion content determining means 113 determines the content of the motion from the posture, the direction of the motion and the strength of the motion. A motion continuance measuring means 115 measures the time and frequency of continuance of the content of the motion from the motion acceleration information. A motion quantity conversion means 117 converts the quantity of the motion from the retrieved consumed calorie information per unit time or per unit frequency and the time of the motion.
