PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for a polymer-dispersed liquid crystal display element and the polymer-dispersed liquid crystal element, which are superior in low-driving voltage characteristics in a low-temperature area and have a high voltage holding ratio and can be driven by an active element.;SOLUTION: The composition for a polymer-dispersed liquid crystal display element contains a compound selected from groups given by a general formula (I-a) and a general formula (I-b) and contains a compound given by a general formula (I-c) and contains a compound given by a general formula (II-b) and contains a polymerization initiator, and the polymer-dispersed liquid crystal element uses this composition.
