PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a conventional "a measuring method of the absorption amount of carbon dioxide due to a forest", executed at a point which is considered to be representative, positioned in the vicinity of the central part of a forest, enables no measurement of accurate absorption amount of carbon dioxide of the whole of the forest in case a carbon dioxide producing source is present in the periphery of the forest.;SOLUTION: This apparatus used in a gas concentration measuring and analyzing method is constituted of a means 100 for dividing the forest into (n) segments and measuring the concentration of carbon dioxide in a stock part and a sky part in each of the segments, a means 110 for measuring the concentration of carbon dioxide, a wind direction and wind velocity in the outer peripheral part of the forest and a control center 120 for processing and controlling acquired data. The steady absorption amount of carbon dioxide of the forest is calculated from the difference between the concentrations of carbon dioxide in the stock part and its sky part and the balance of the amount of carbon dioxide with the outside of the forest is further calculated from the measured data of the concentration of carbon dioxide, wind direction and wind velocity in the outer peripheral part of the forest. The absorption amount of carbon dioxide of the whole of the forest at an arbitrary time can be obtained in a real time from the above calculated values.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
