PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a peritoneal dialysis apparatus which allows a patient to automatize dialysis treatment, has clear and easy operability, has excellent precision in flow control, and performs dialysis treatment in the most optimum condition, and also to provide a method and a program for controlling the same.;SOLUTION: The peritoneal dialysis apparatus performs dialysis by supplying dialysis fluid into the peritoneal cavity of the patient at a predetermined flow rate and collecting the used dialysis fluid as drainage. The peritoneal dialysis apparatus comprises a dialysis fluid container containing the dialysis fluid, a drainage container for receiving the used dialysis fluid, a fluid supplying means for supplying the dialysis fluid from the dialysis fluid container to the drainage container, an electromagnetic flow rate measuring means for measuring the flow rate of the dialysis fluid supplied by the fluid supplying means by generating a magnetic field, and a flow rate control means for controlling, on the basis of the flow rate of the dialysis fluid measured by the electromagnetic flow rate measuring means, the supply amount of the dialysis fluid to the peritoneal cavity of the patient and/or the draining amount of the used dialysis fluid from the peritoneal cavity of the patient by the fluid supplying means.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
