PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container sucking and moving method which is implemented by sucking an entrance side of each container to the lid, and taking off the containers, achieves stable taking-off of the containers in the vertical and horizontal directions, and adsorption of all of foreign matter in the containers, and contributes to free formation of a container bottom portion without limitation thereof to a flat surface, and to protection of the lid from breakage because of not being formed of a flexible material, and to provide a container sucking and moving device.;SOLUTION: According to the container sucking and moving method, the containers 6 stacked on each other are supplied from a container supplying section, and a container moving device of a container moving device section is rotated to move the containers. When the containers are moved from a location (a) to a location (a-1) and brought into contact with the lid 3 having a moving means of a container sucking and sucking section, a container detecting sensor 4 detects a contact state, and then the container moving device 7 is stopped, to thereby stop the movement of the containers.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
