TOILET SYSTEM PERFORMING HUMAN WASTE TREATMENT BY UTILIZING FERMENTATION ABILITY OF MICROORGANISM

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a toilet which treats human wastes by microorganisms in a toilet tank (a fermentation tank). PSOLUTION: The toilet has the fermentation tank filled with a carbon source, for example sawdust, which contains an aerobic fermenting microorganism planted at the initial starting and has a high organic carbon content in the toilet tank which is equipped with an agitating means and formes a closed space. When the human wastes is thrown onto the sawdust, the human wastes are degraded and are made to degrade by the fermentation of the microorganism using organic matters and nitrogen in the human wastes as a nutritional source. The moisture in the human wastes is evaporated by applying heat energy which is generated by the degradation on the sawdust, and the sawdust is made into compost. The toilet is equipped with a separate urinal and a urine collecting tank for temporarily collecting urine to control to introduce the urine from the urine collecting tank into the toilet tank (the fermentation tank).
