PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head and neck fixing implement for radiation therapy, which is capable of reducing mental pains of a patient and smoothly advances the radiation therapy especially in the case that the patient to receive the radiation therapy for the head and neck parts is a child.;SOLUTION: In the head and neck fixing implement 1 for the radiation therapy, the face pattern of a panda is indicated at a part to cover a face so as to reduce the mental pains of a child receiving the radiation therapy. The head and neck-fixing implement 1 is formed by using a sheet material 3. That is, the heated and softened sheet material 3 is put on the lesion of the head and the face or the like and stretched so as to tightly adhere to the recessed and projecting parts of the lesion. When a temperature is lowered, since the sheet material 3 is hardened matched with the recessed and projecting parts of the lesion, it is detached from the lesion and unneeded parts at a peripheral edge are cut off. In order to accurately irradiate the lesion with radiation, the molded sheet material 3 is marked. After marking, the face pattern of the panda is drawn on the molded sheet material 3 using a template 6 and a pen 7 of oily black ink or the like.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
