PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for detecting an occurrence place of thrombus and for observing a process of the growth of the thrombus visually, and to provide a thrombus observation device using thereof.;SOLUTION: The method for detecting the thrombus which detects the thrombus generated inside of a device to be tested constituting a blood circulation circuit has: a step of taking anticoagulated raw blood from a living body; a step of cooling blood obtained by removing red blood cells from the raw blood to a prescribed temperature while circulating the blood through the blood circulation circuit; a step of neutralizing anticoagulation action of the cooled blood; and a step of raising the temperature of the neutralized blood and irradiating the blood circulated inside of the device to be tested with laser sheet beams to obtain an image from its laser scattering light.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
